reunited!
reunited!

Hi, Elizabeth here. We’ve been here at Texas for a little less than a week, which has already been full of adventures. For instance, we got to visit my new school, walk 3 miles to a burger place and back, got new school uniforms, hung out with my reunited family, and noticed how warm TX is compared to TN. My mom’s going back to the hospital on Tuesday, so we will be needing loving prayers for good health. I will always have Philippians 4:13 in my heart.

  1. Hi Elizabeth! Long time no see. I’m sorry about your mom having cancer. I’ve been praying for you and your family. By the way, nice writing on you blog. I would never be able to do that. I’m glad you guys are back together.

    Your friend and old neighbor,

    Lauryn

  2. Elizabeth…I love your shirt! A little self-promotion for your Dad is good stuff. Way to get behind him and show your support!

Praying for y’all, and thanks for being such a great example of faith during trials and uncertainty….but we have the certainty that Jesus’ promises are true, valid, pure and for our own good!

Sad to see you guys in Houston again, because I’m now doing business in Nashville and will be traveling back and forth in the Spring and Summer. If I come to knock on your door, your house will be empty right now. Let’s keep in touch when you’re back from Houston and I’ll plan a visit.

    Love your friends and ex-next-door-neighbors,
    Mark, Jody, Isaiah, Lauryn

  3. Hi Elizabeth! I am so proud of you and your family for how strong and brave you are and for how you embrace this time as an adventure with blessings to be found! I am praying for your mom this morning as she enters the hospital today.
    Love you all!

( I am your mom’s cousin from Martin, Tn. We all hung out together at uncle William’s farm last year! 🙂
Please tell Amber and Harrison “hello” from me too!

  4. Great post, Elizabeth! Best of luck to you and Amber at your new school. So happy you are all together.

    Sending prayers!

  5. Wow, 3 miles to the Burger Place and back is a long walk! I’m so glad you are exploring the new neighborhood, and no better way than on foot! I hope you will love your new school–they are SURE to love you! All of your church family at FCC are praying for you, dear Elizabeth, and for your mom, and all the Scheeles! Give mama a big hug and kiss from us, and write again soon!

  6. Hi Elizabeth

Welcome to TEXAS. How exciting to see you on here too. Alec, Jacey & Brice are also excited to get to see yall. I will get in contact with your mom and dad and find out when ya’ll (I’ll help you with some new Texas lingo that we are learning) can come out and visit us here in Cypress, TX. It is about 45 min away from where I think you guys are located. We have been praying for you and your Mom and the rest of your family and will continue to pray for all of you. Enjoy your new school, when is your new school on spring break?

  7. Elizabeth,
I like Texas too. You know you have relatives in Houston, your Dad’s cousins? Hope you and Amber have a wonderful adventure in your new school. I miss you all. Do me a favor, tell everyone I said hello and my prayers are with you.
    Love Aunt Darla

  8. It was so much fun reading what you wrote on your mom’s blog, I hope you will do that again. I pray for you also and will be very anxious to hear about your new school. I know they are going to love you and Amber and the two of you will give a lot of yourselves to your teachers and the other students. God has put you there for a reason and before you know it you will be back home with your Spring Hill friends, but until then enjoy your new life. Tell Mormor and Papa it’s 16 in Crossville tonite and I heard Nashville got 2feet of snow yesterday, and there you are already having Spring weather. Take care little girl and tell everyone we send our love. Aunt Marianna XO

  9. Our family has been following your mom’s posts and sending prayers for the whole family. So glad you are all back together and exploring your new temporary city! Sending hugs!

  10. Fantastic writing, Elizabeth! I’m so proud of you! I can’t wait to spend time with you in person.
    Love,
